Terms of Service

These terms apply to the use of wltpconsumption.com (the "Site"), operated by the company named in the Imprint ("we"). By using the Site you accept them. Last updated: 6 September 2026.

1. What the Site offers

The Site shows official WLTP consumption, emissions and range figures for cars sold in the EU, ranks them, lets you compare cars and estimates running costs from your own mileage and prices. Browsing, the rankings, the guides and the basic comparison are free and need no account.

2. Accounts

You can create an account with an email address, a name and a password to save comparisons and settings. Keep your password confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the account page or by contacting us, and we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Premium

Premium unlocks the advanced comparison: consumption weighted by your driving profile, plug-in hybrid trip simulation, home and public charging shares and total cost of ownership. The price and the billing period are shown before you pay; at the time of writing it is 9 EUR for three months. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your full card details. Premium renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it on the account page before the period ends, in which case it stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed. Prices include VAT where applicable.

4. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may withdraw from a Premium purchase within 14 days of buying it by writing to info@wltpconsumption.com. Because Premium starts immediately at your request, you pay for the days it was active before you withdrew; the rest is refunded.

5. The figures are estimates

Consumption, emissions and range values are official type-approval (WLTP) figures compiled from manufacturer publications, industry vehicle databases and vehicle market listings. Real consumption differs, often considerably, from the test figure. Costs are calculated from the figures and the prices and mileage you enter; they are estimates for orientation and not a promise about what a specific car will cost you. Always check the manufacturer's documentation for the exact vehicle and configuration before a purchase.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Automated bulk downloading of the database, republishing our data as a dataset, and attempts to interfere with the Site or other users' accounts are not allowed. Search engines and answer engines may crawl the public pages.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, graphics, design and software of the Site belong to us or our licensors. Vehicle names and brand logos belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the vehicles.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under mandatory product liability law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service and, for a Premium purchase, to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under the law of their country of residence.

9. Changes

We may change these terms; the current version is always on this page with its date. Material changes to Premium will be announced to account holders by email before they take effect.

10. Law and venue

Croatian law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence also apply and you may bring claims before the courts of that country.
